We are seeking to hire a Logistics Manager who will be
responsible for management of Retail Logistics in the whole Egypt
region. The job holder (JH) will oversee the entire supply chain (from
origin to store, including store returns) to work within budget and
meet business and service level objectives both locally and
internationally. Your job responsibilities will be including but not
limited to the following:
- Management of supply chain cost and service levels to ensure that they stay within budgeted levels
- Managing the commercials in terms of the entire Egypt logistics cost, budget management.
- Develop and implement immediate corrective action were costs are outside budgeted levels
- Monthly review the Service Providers performance to measure the KPI and ways to reduce lead times and cost
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent (qualifications in SCM/Logistics ideal)
- Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years of Supply Chain and Logistics management experience, retail preferred
- Egypt logistics and custom clearance experience
- Analytical with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of Warehouse, Distribution, Customs and Cross Border Freight and 3PL Management
- Strong people relationship and management skills
- A self-starter, with the ability to work independently
