Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in civil engineering.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum years in the design and construction of residential, recreational, and commercial buildings and facilities.
Fully familiar with UBC and other applicable standards.
Full computer knowledge and be fully capable of using specialist building design programs and applications (international building codes) in checking building design standards.
The candidate should possess a broad experience in quantity surveying in building projects, managing the costs from the early design plans through to a building's completion. He or she needs to ensure that projects meet legal and quality standards. The candidate shall have a good knowledge of construction methods and materials, and work with various engineering disciplines in project execution in a professional level job.
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English with special emphasis on preparing technical reports and design studies.
During the first days, you will be attending orientations with related departments, familiarize yourself with Saudi Aramco engineering standards, your home department, and key decision makers. You will also familiarize yourself with the processes and procedures of Saudi Aramco. You will shadow department members and begin supporting the different project divisions.
- Days:
During this period, your division head and supervisor will monitor your progress, and report to the department manager if you are a fit for the position. You will provide support to your department/division by performing. projects proposals and detailed designs reviews. You will attend meetings and workshops with other departments within Saudi Aramco and outside consultants.
After Months:
You will have become an important and valuable member of the department, acclimatized and enjoying working for one of the worlds largest integrated energy companies.
You will have established, adopted, and/or customized standards for CSPSD. You will be able to apply project management skills and project supervision skills, and be able to train young Saudi engineers in the Professional Development Program (PDP).
